Want to go Sailing?!?!
Okay as most of you know, I got certified in A.S.A. Basic Keelboat Sailing. And I have been praising how much fun it's been. How we sail in the NY harbor, dodging various water crafts: barges, cruise ships, the Beast and Shark (touristy speed boat with loud music), and of course the po-po CG (Coast Guard and NYPD). And how we have sailed near the Statue, Ellis Island, Governor's Island, Verazzano Bridge, and GWB. Now you can JOIN me for a one day sail to experience it yourself!
If you want to join me for a sail, yes on the same boat as me with a few other people, here are the details. It's usually Sat or Sun, from 2 PM until 5-7PM (depending how we all feel). The boats are J24 Keelboats maintained by the True North Sailing School they are kinda small and fit 4 people best, but they are almost impossible to capsize, we don't require life jackets, but one will be provided to you if you want to use one. The cost of a guest is $20 and you will have to fill out a liability waiver form, and you have to wear shoes that don't mark (or white soled shoes). If you want to do stuff on the boat we can show you and you can do it!
Let me know by Thursday of the weekend you would like to go sailing if you are interested in joining me for a sail!
